There are so too many people in this world without direction or purpose. Each of us has a responsibility to ourselves and the world around us to identify our beliefs and values, and to understand why and how we believe. Our greatest personal gift is to have inner convictions and to be grounded in them. Our inner convictions become our guide for making choices that affect us and the people who we engage. Because we are connected with everyone and everything around us, our energy affects everything and we attract what we give.
We all need a compass for direction and we all need an instrument to measure who we are and the various paths that we should take. Our convictions and our purpose are tied together to help us become grounded. When we are grounded, it is easier for us to measure how close or how far we are from the things that we want and the things which we don’t want in our lives.
Remember that we are always in a state of evolving and becoming. We are not the same person exactly that we were a week ago. We are continuously redefining ourselves, consciously or unconsciously through our thoughts, words, and actions. If we are grounded in our beliefs, then our state of becoming means that we have a greater understanding of our beliefs as well as the beliefs of others.
How conscious are you of your purpose? Your purpose becomes your moral compass to help you translate every relationship, event, and experience into the language of your purpose for being here. There are no coincidences in this life.
Each person with whom we interact has a different perspective on life and a different theme or belief that they value. Then, each of us stands alone in the world because of our unique view of the world around us. Each of us has a life which is unique from all others in some way or in many ways. Simply put, unless we have walked in the same shoes and thought the same precise thoughts as another person, we are all different.
The value of looking at the world through another person’s life, however different they are, is an opportunity for us to contemplate our own beliefs, what we value, and our purpose on this planet.
